I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS seeks to make every ceremony as perfect as it can be so that you will cherish your memories for a lifetime. Understanding the items below will help us work together to make your day possible. Please feel free to contact us directly with any questions.

These terms and conditions constitute an agreement between you as the client and I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS. These terms and conditions are binding upon payment of the deposit by the client.

Wedding Details

I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS will work with you to plan each detail that you desire for your wedding. To facilitate this process, we ask that all specific requests be submitted in writing (email or mail) not less than 30 days before the ceremony date in order for us to do our best on your behalf. Think about what venue, time, flowers and any other particulars that you would are considering. Attendance total must be received no later than 30 days prior to your ceremony date. All selections and wedding details are subject to change based on the occurrences in life and in the sole discretion of I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS.

Marriage License

Wedding couples are responsible for securing their marriage license prior to their event (this document may only be picked up by the wedding couple together). Wedding couples who fail to obtain this license understand their service will carry no legal value. I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS provides instructions to obtain the document in the reservation / invoice confirmation and on the website at IDoHawaiianWeddings.com/Hawaii-Wedding-FAQ

Reservations, Cancellations, Modifications, Deposits, and Payments

All reservations and modifications must be submitted to and confirmed by I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS via email at least 15 days prior to the wedding date and are subject to 3.5% processing fee. Text changes will not be accepted. A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required upon acceptance of confirmation and invoice for all services rendered. The final balance will be due and payable no later than 15 days prior to your event. Ceremonies scheduled in less than 15 days are required to pay in full upon invoice receipt to complete the order. Tendered payments online, no checks accepted.

Cancellations

No refunds will be issued on cancellations. A deposit may be used with date rescheduled within 6 months after original wedding date. No refund available if rescheduling does not occur. Deposit may be transferred only once upon cancellation. Same terms apply.

Subject to Change

All policies, packages, and pricing are subject to change without notice. While we make every effort to maintain prices as quoted, they are subject to change without notice. All transactions are subject to applicable Hawaii Sales Tax.

Addition Payments For Services

Holiday and Sunrise Ceremony will incur an additional fee. Travel for ceremonies outside of Honolulu proper, or on the West or North shore will incur an individual fee per each team member serving. Rehearsals are not required however if scheduled, an hourly fee for Officiant to be present will be included in your invoice.

Photography and Videography Release

I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS reserves the right, and the client irrevocably consents and authorizes I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS to use, reproduce publish and copyright each of the names, likenesses, images, voices, and performances, in whole or in part, any and all film footage, prints, photographs and/or other media taken during the wedding ceremony and/or reception. You understand that the media, negatives, copies or reproductions shall be the sole property of I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS, to be used and disposed of in commerce or otherwise, with or without compensation to I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS, in perpetuity and without limitation. You hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or the use to which it may be applied. You agree to release and indemnify the I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS from and against any and all claims for invasion of privacy, defamation and any other cause of action, including without limitation all attorneys’ fees and costs reasonably incurred in connection therewith, arising out of the production, publication, display and exhibition or use of their likeness, image, voice, interview and performance.

Beyond the Control of I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS

It is understood and agreed that I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS, its employees, agents, or vendors performing hereunder shall not be held liable, and I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS denies responsibility in the event a scheduled wedding or reception cannot take place or is delayed due to circumstances beyond its control. In the event of weather conditions, road conditions, traffic, mechanical difficulties, strikes, or for any reason whatsoever, I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS may at any time and without prior notice cancel, advance, postpone or deviate from any scheduled event and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever incurred by reason of such cancellation, advancement, postponement or deviation. You understand and accept all risks associated with unforeseen circumstances and other items beyond your and I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS control.

Venue Restrictions

I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS is not responsible for the compliance with or the existence of any venue restrictions, including but not limited to, restrictions on open flames, sand, rice or other tossed items, and decorations such as rose petals and other floral and non-floral décor, and is not responsible for any adverse impact on the ceremony as a result of such restrictions. For all public permitted venues, I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS does not permit any outside wedding décor or setups, such as, but not limited to, arches, chairs or tents. All locations are entered at the individuals own risk. I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS is not liable should any individual associated with the party or guests of party suffer an injury or become physically ill.

Officiants, Photographers, Videographers, Musicians and Other Wedding Day Vendors

In the event of an emergency or unexpected circumstance preventing a scheduled officiant, photographer, videographer, or other wedding day vendor from performing their services, I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS shall in its sole discretion provide a replacement officiant, photographer, etc. if necessary, without the clients’ prior approval. In booking the specific services for your ceremony, you agree that the ceremony shall begin at the specified time booked. The officiant and other scheduled vendors must be able to begin the ceremony at the scheduled time in order to stay on schedule for other scheduled weddings and events. You understand and agree that you will be charged additional fees and costs if the vendor/s must wait to start the ceremony past the scheduled time, and further that neither the officiant nor other scheduled vendors is required to stay past the scheduled time of completion for the ceremony or event.

Entertainment and Sound

I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS is not responsible for any sound or music services used during the ceremony, reception, or other events, including amplification for the officiant, clients, readers and/or musicians. In the event that the client uses the sound equipment provided by I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS, it is understood that they are not professional sound engineers and the equipment is not a substitute for professional sound equipment.

Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and not withstanding any other provision of this Agreement, you agree to limit the Company’s liability for any and all claims, losses, costs, damages of any nature whatsoever or claims expenses from any cause or causes, including attorneys’ fees and costs and expert witness fees and costs, so that the total aggregate liability of I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS shall not exceed the total costs paid for the wedding package and additional services purchased. You further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS and its employees, agents, independent contractors/vendors, officers, and/or managers for any injury, property damage, liability, claim or other cause of action arising out of or related to your actions or the actions of your guests.

Additional Terms

You agree that these terms and conditions and the transactions between you and I DO HAWAIIAN WEDDINGS are subject to, and shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, and that the parties hereto agree that any legal action taken by either party shall be instituted and prosecuted in the Circuit Courts of the First Circuit, State of Hawaii. You further agree that the prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement by the non-prevailing party of all reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs incurred.
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties, and supersede all prior agreements whether oral or written concerning the subject matter of this agreement.

Your Consent

By placing a booking and paying a deposit, you understand these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
